Rotarian Gudrun Malmqvist, Thomas Briginshaw, Executive Director Innovation Centre, Michael Gravells and Rotarian Patti Thurston 
Thomas Briginshaw, Executive Director of the Innovation Centre on Shuswap St., Salmon Arm, spoke to the club about their programs.  Michael Gravells, a youth who has been working in the technology area in the basement, talked about what he has been doing with the 3D printer.  They have several courses, a rooftop garden with yoga classes and office space for 19 offices.  They are hoping for a donation from our club, and have plans to become self-sustaining.

Captain Jessica Ellenor with Master Warrant Karl Bongay, Warrant Officer Daniel Zazzi, and Warrant Officer Peter Zazzi spoke about the program of the Rocky Mountain Rangers.  They had a slide show from their trip to Western Europe to visit historical sites from WWI and WWII.  They are planning another trip to visit similar sites in Eastern Europe.

May 14, 2019 - Sue Whitehead from Shuswap Middle School
Sue Whitehead, right, a teacher at Shuswap Middle School, brought 4 students who presented about their recent class trip to the Vancouver Aquarium, which was supported by a donation from Shuswap Rotary.

Jenny Carter spoke about changes in the United Church's community, involved three spheres:  GreenSpace. Community (a home for new ideas to grow roots) , Nexus (for the performing arts) and First United (faith based endeavours)
